I have had the honor and privilege to get to work with the most amazing woman I have ever encountered. As a True Crime fan, psychology major, and a typical human being that is fascinated by serial killers and the way law enforcement is able to hunt them, I leapt at the opportunity to work with Dr. Nameeta Sahni (pronounced sah-nee), a forensic psychologist based in San Diego, CA.
As a woman of color of South Asian decent, Dr. Sahni has been breaking that glass ceiling repeatedly throughout her career. When we spoke about her work evaluating serial killers and murderers, she said “I love it when I’m contacted by someone and they refer to me as Mr. Sahni. They assume after seeing my resume that I’m a man, and that’s when you know you’ve really made it.”
Dr. Sahni came to me to help build her online presence, knowing that she had her first television appearance coming up. Being a true believer of women helping women, she wanted to work with me not only for my digital marketing skills, but also because I am a woman of color and a single mother who just launched a new business. Dr. Sahni is a true inspiration for young girls everywhere, and for all of these things to occur at the same time in US history where we have elected our first female Vice President who is also a woman of color, it’s truly a moment of greatness.
So, without further ado, introducing ForensicPsych.expert, Dr. Sahni’s new online presence, which went live just in time for her television debut on Discovery’s Talking Evil, the first-ever Evil Lives Here after-show. If you’re a true crime fan like me, you’ll definitely want to check it out. Also be sure to catch Dr. Sahni on Season 2 of Signs of a Psychopath.
This has been the most fun I’ve had working on a project in a very long time, and I look forward to our continued partnership.
