Desirea has provided Product Marketing to many leading SaaS companies, such as Blend (fin-tech), Kenshoo (ad management), and Marin Software (ad management). Prior to transitioning to Product Marketing, Desirea took on a sales role at Marin Software providing technical consulting to C-level executives to the companies largest and most strategic enterprise prospects.
Desirea worked in Digital Customer Acquisition at Ancestry.com where she was able to work cross-functionally with Business Development, Product, Operations, Traditional Media, and Digital Media teams. Her knack for being able to see the big picture allowed her to bring the tactics of each team together and provided a more unified customer acquisition experience and knowledge sharing across teams.
During her time at Organic, a digital agency in San Francisco, she was the Manager of Search Media on the Hilton Worldwide account, overseeing all property level campaigns. During her 2 years at Organic, she achieved over 40% growth year over year, generating over $750MM in revenue in 2011.
Prior to moving back to the Bay Area, Desirea lived in Philadelphia, PA, overseeing a team of 42 across 3 cities and led the development and management of Yellowbook’s Local Search Marketing product geared towards small to medium-sized businesses. Her efforts resulted in a 250% revenue increase over the course of 3 years.
Previously, Desirea has provided her considerable Search Marketing knowledge and skillset to brands such as Ramada Hotels, Greater Philadelphia Tourism Marketing Corporation (GPTMC), Eastbay.com, NFLShop.com, FootLocker.com, L'Oreal USA, and Weichert Realtors – just to name a few.
